Salvation, A Two Step Process

Hello my friends, I come to you in the spirit of love, however it has once again fallen upon me to tell you what others will not.  I must relay to you the truth concerning Salvation; please be attentive, because there is no more important subject.

Below is the process in which Christians are normally told that we have to go through to attain Salvation, and I completely agree with it, however its only half of the story.  Let's look at both parts.

PART ONE:
(1). Realize first that you are a sinner. [Romans 5:12] (Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:)
(2). Realize that Jesus died for your sins and that salvation is available only through Jesus. [Romans 5:8-9] (But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.)
(3). You must confess with your mouth Jesus and believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. [Romans 10:9-10] (That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)

PART TWO:
Now here begins the part that we are almost never told about.  At this point you are saved and no one can tell you that you are not saved; it falls upon you to workout your salvation[Philippians 2:12 ].  By this I mean that the holy spirit is given unto you to teach you all things and show you all things, it helps you to live a godly life by convicting you when you transgress the will of God.  In lay-mans terms the holy spirits tells you when you are wrong[John 16:12:15].

Here is where it get's tricky: No man can tell you that you are not saved, once you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord.  However the wise will understand the truth that follows.  There will come a day when Jesus Christ himself must confirm your salvation, this is the second part of salvation.  You have read correctly, one day you will stand before Jesus Christ and it falls upon Jesus to state whether or not you are truly saved and can enter into the Kingdom of God.

(Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.)[Matthew 7:21-23].

These are the true saying of God my friends.  I am a writer and have written twelve books in Jesus' name, but it doesn't matter if I wrote 100 books or preached 10,000 sermons; if I have not worked out my salvation in accordance with the will of God, then I would be doomed to hell.  I would merely be another lost soul in hell who thought that works could get him into the Kingdom of God.

So what can you do to ensure that Jesus will confirm your salvation at the appointed time?  My advice is to seek God with your whole heart, love God above all else, and listen to his holy spirit when it convicts you of sin.  Repent and change your ways immediately, and Jesus will gladly confirm your salvation.  David was not perfect, but God said that his heart was perfect because as soon as David sinned he repented and did not continue to commit the same sin[1 Kings 11:4].

Pergamos In the News

Jesus, speaks to seven churches in Revelation, the seven endtime churches, and one of them was the church of Pergamos.  Let's see what Jesus says to the church of Pergamos:  Revelation 2:12-17  New King James Version (NKJV)  “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.  Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’

There are a few things I wish to touch on here, but will not give all of my thoughts on this sensitive subject.  Firstly we need to discover where Pergamos is.  Pergamos is located in the modern day city of Bergama, Turkey.  link1

Turkish police are arresting protesters; Turkish Prime Mininister Tayyip Erdogan's has taken outrageous steps to crackdown on protesters which has given some Europeans a new excuse to question whether country merits European Union membership; Germany is already opposing their membership into the European Union.  Jesus told the church that they would be destroyed if they did not repent, now today the country is mostly Islamic.  Are we to believe that the people are being opressed solely because they want a true democratic government?  Could it be that the people have woken up to what is really going on in the country?  All of the countries in that area are in turmoil and are being setup to give their power over to the beast, just like the bible says.  [Revelation 17:13].  Iraq, Turkey, Libya, Syria, and others...link

Let me ask you a question, do you know where Satan's seat is?  Well would you agree that its where Satan is?
This is what Satan's seat looked like when Jesus spoke of it. The seat of Zeus in Pergamous.

Did you know that the stage for the democratic convention was a replica of the seat of Pergamos?  Not judging just reporting the facts.

Preventing God's Work

As I go about my job of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, I sometimes come across people who don't like the way that I handle my ministry.  They don't agree with the administration of my gifts; sometimes they are offended by the working of the holy spirit within me and feel like I'm misusing my gifts.  They don't see the beam in their eye, they know what my path should be better than I do.  Let's see what Jesus concluded when he came across this phenomena.

Jesus gave his disciples power over all the works of the devil and sent them out preaching the Kingdom of God [Luke9].  Jesus asked them for a report of what they accomplished when they returned.  The disciples returned saying:

(And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us) [Luke 9:49].  Don't miss this point; the apostle John, the disciple that Jesus loved told Jesus that he found a man that was casting out devils in the name  of Jesus and prevented him from doing so, because the man didn't conduct himself the way he felt like he should have.  He didn't follow the guidelines, in the manner that fit John's approval.  Let me state this several ways to bring the point home.  Let me paraphrase John...

-Jesus we found a man loosing people from demonic possession in your name and we told him not to do that, only a disciple of Jesus Christ can do such a thing.  (You are correct John!)
-We found a man calling on your name Jesus, and recognizing you as the Son of God with authority over every power of the enemy but we told him not to call upon your name; we told him not to help people.
-We found a man using the gift that God gave him and we told him to sit down and shut up.
-We found a man lifting up your name Jesus, and we prevented him from doing so in Jesus name; we rebuked him from doing good in Jesus name.
-We missed your sermon Jesus about your Kingdom not being divided, so we tried to divide your kingdom Jesus; we caused a scene and argued with a good Christian man in front of sinners, to show them the way of Christ.

How hard hearted can you be John?  Didn't you see first hand how the religious leader's nit-picked Jesus for healing on the sabbath?  Don't we all know people like that; people that say my way is the right way, but Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the father but by me [John 14:6]."  It's not John's way, or Rev. Thomas's way, or Michael's way!  Let the holy spirit work in that man as it pleases.  Paul said that there are different administrations of the spirit but they all work through the will of God in Christ to benefit the church [1 Corinthians 12:4-7].  If the church is being benefited, let the man of God work!

But you don't have to take my word for it, let's see what Jesus said:
(And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us) [Luke 9:50].  In other words:

-If the man is rebuking the devil in my name, only the devil should be offended.
-If a woman wants to preach, let her preach.
-If a visitor wants to speak in tongues in your church, don't ask them not to comeback.
-If the young people want to form a praise dancing team, it doesn't have to be the focus of Sunday service, let them dance at Wednesday night prayer service; you might get more people to come out.
-If I want to write articles and books that seem to stray from your accepted beliefs, don't call me names, don't try to prevent me from doing what God sent me to earth to do, just because you don't understand it.  And if I am wrong, I pray that God reveals to me my true path, but in the meanwhile I will do the best I can.  If my ideas seem to be out there, I'm out there for Christ.  I don't understand French, but if I hear a man speaking in French at the Mall I'm not going to demand that they speak English.

This is last point I wish to make in this discussion: Jesus asked the disciples to tell him what they accomplished, but John tells Jesus what he prevented!  Do you know anyone that doesn't feel like they have accomplished anything until they have prevented you from doing your job!!  Jesus gave John power over all the works of the devil and his proudest accomplishment at the time, was preventing a man of God from doing his job.  Wow!

Why Prosperity Preaching is Wrong!

In these last days, the church has
called for preachers who only tell
them what they want to hear; those
teachers that won't even preach a
third of the bible. "For the time
will come when they will not endure
sound doctrine; but after their own
lusts shall they draw to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; And
they shall turn away their ears from
the truth, and shall be turned unto
myths." [2 Timothy 4:3-4]. The main
tenant of the prosperity doctrine is
that if you have money its because God
is pleased with you and has blessed
you, and that if far from true. [1
Timothy 6:5] states that gain is not
godliness and is not a sign of God's
favor. Real prosperity is being
content with what you have and godly
living. In the last days people will
listen to seducing spirits, doctrines
of devils, because good doctrine saves
and bad doctrine condemns [1 Timothy
4:1-5, 1Timohty 4:16].

Prosperity preaching is not sound
doctrine because the Kingdom of God is
not of this earth: now let me prove
that statement. A rich man, a rich
young ruler came to Jesus and said,
that he had kept all the commandments
from his youth, and asked what thing
he lacked to enter into the Kingdom of
God. Jesus commanded him to sell all
that he had and follow Him, only then
could the young man enter the kingdom.
[Luke 18:22] Wait, so why didn't Jesus
say, "good-job my son you are
prosperous, you have triumphed over
the devil and are a fine example of a
prospering Christian?" Well, because
the man couldn't be a part of God's
kingdom if he loved anything more than
he loved God [Matthew 10:37, Luke 18];
the rich young ruler had to prove his
love for God by believing his Son,
Jesus, and following Jesus. You can't
follow Jesus if you don't follow his
commands. The bible says to be rich
in good works not money.

So where should your treasure be? It
should be in heaven. "Sell that ye
have, and give alms; provide
yourselves bags which wax not old, a
treasure in the heavens that faileth
not, where no thief approacheth,
neither moth corrupteth." [Luke
12:33]. But no one wants to hear
that, right! That's why they have
hired teachers that will tell them
what they want to hear!

This is the end-time, so let's look
and see what Jesus tells the end-time
churches in the book of Revelation,
you know the book that preachers won't
preach from. Let me show you why.
[Revelations chapters 2 and 3] Jesus
speaks to the Seven end-time
churches...

[1] Letter to the Church in Ephesus:
[I know thy works, and thy labour, and
thy patience, and how thou canst not
bear them which are evil: and thou
hast tried them which say they are
apostles, and are not, and hast found
them liars: Nevertheless I have
somewhat against thee, because thou
hast left thy first love. Remember
therefore from whence thou art fallen,
and repent, and do the first works; or
else I will come unto thee quickly,
and will remove thy candlestick out of
his place, except thou repent.] The
church has left its first love, its
first faith, Christ Jesus, in order to
chase after gain; the love of money.
Money is the god of this world [1
Timothy 6:6-10]!

[2] Letter to the Church in Smyrna:
[I know thy works, and tribulation,
and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I
know the blasphemy of them which say
they are Jews, and are not, but are
the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of
those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the devil shall cast some of
you into prison, that ye may be tried;
and ye shall have tribulation ten
days: be thou faithful unto death, and
I will give thee a crown of life.]
Here Jesus says that the church’s
poverty has made them rich, their
riches are in heaven, because they
have been faithful; when you keep
God’s commandments this makes you
truly prosperous.

[3] Letter to the Church in Pergamos:
[I know thy works, and where thou
dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:
and thou holdest fast my name, and
hast not denied my faith, even in
those days wherein Antipas was my
faithful martyr, who was slain among
you, where Satan dwelleth. But I have
a few things
against thee, because thou hast there
them that hold the doctrine of Balaam,
who taught Balac to cast a
stumblingblock before the children of
Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto
idols, and to commit fornication.]
Jesus is upset with this church
because they have listened to false
doctrine(prosperity, and idolatry: do
as you please) and this church has not
kept the commands of Jesus.

[4] Letter to the Church in Thyatira:
[I know thy works, and charity, and
service, and faith, and thy patience,
and thy works; and the last to be more
than the first. Notwithstanding I have
a few things against thee, because
thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to
teach and to seduce my servants to
commit fornication, and to eat things
sacrificed unto idols. Behold, I will
cast her into a bed, and them that
commit adultery with her into great
tribulation, except they repent of
their deeds. And I will kill her
children with death; and all the
churches shall know that I am he which
searcheth the reins and hearts: and I
will give unto every one of you
according to your works.] Again Jesus
is upset with this church because they
have followed false doctrine! Jezebel
is the spirit of lust and whoredoms,
she represents the love of money and
every sin that comes from lusting
after gain, the god of this world.

[5] Letter to the Church in Sardis:
[I know your works, that you have a
name that you live, and are dead.]
This church thinks that it is
prospering and following Jesus,
however it is truly a dead church! It
has accepted false doctrine and has
been separated from Christ.

[6] Letter to the Church in
Philadelphia:
[I know your works: behold, I have set
before you an open door, and no man
can shut it: for you have a little
strength, and have kept my word, and
have not denied my name. Behold, I
come quickly: hold that fast which you
have, that no man take your crown.]
How can the crown be taken? You can
lose your rewards laid up in heaven by
listening to false teachers. Jesus is
pleased with this church because they
have held on to sound doctrine, and
tells them not to let anyone take it
from them, because they will lose
their crown. Paul says that
Christians crucify Christ anew when
they leave behind sound doctrine
[Hebrews 6:4-9].

[7] Letter to the Church of the
Laodiceans:
[I know your works, that you are
neither cold nor hot: I would that you
were cold or hot. So then because you
are lukewarm, and neither cold nor
hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
Because you say, I am rich, and
increased with goods, and have need of
nothing; and know not that you are
wretched, and miserable, and poor, and
blind, and naked: I counsel you to buy
of me gold tried in the fire, that you
may be rich; and white clothing, that
you may be clothed, and that the shame
of your nakedness does not appear; and
anoint your eyes with eye salve, that
you may see.] This church has accepted
the prosperity doctrine and will be
spewed out of the mouth of Jesus. They
are blind, miserable, and naked and
don’t even realize the state that they
are in. They have been completely
fooled by false teachers.

Now you can clearly see why most
preachers won't even preach from
Revelations. First of all they don't
want you to consider for even a second
that we are in the last days, they
want you to live a moral worldly life,
have a positive prosperous mindset,
and keep the money flowing in.
Secondly they know the state of the
church: the people don't want to hear
the truth. They don't want the party
to end, but the bible says that the
last days will be as the days of Noah
were [Matthew 24:38-39]. People lived
a riotous, worldly existence until the
rains started and the doors of the Ark
were shut. This is last call, repent
while the doors are open. The basic
tenant of God is that if a man is
qualified to preach then he will
preach sound doctrine, if not then he
is not qualified; is the church
following the guidelines [1 Timothy
3:1-6].
