Joel Osteen has a mantra that he has everyone say before his services begin; "This is my Bible: I am what it says I am; I have what it says I have; I can do what it says I can do. Today, I will be taught the Word of God. I'll boldly confess. My mind is alert; my heart is receptive; I will never be the same. I am about to receive the incorruptible, indestructible, ever-living Seed of the Word of God. I'll never be the same - never, never, never! I'll never be the same, in Jesus' Name."
So this sounds good, what could be wrong with it? Well simply put, you are placing yourself under the law instead of Jesus Christ and are accepting the curses that come under the law, there are no curses under the new testament only grace. Osteen is making you declare that you will live by everything in the Bible, old testament and new testament, and this is improper thinking. The Bible says that the letter of the law kills(old testament) [2 Corinthians 3]. In 2 Corinthians 3:6, Paul contrasts the new testament of the Spirit with the old testament of the letter. Paul argues that the letter, or the written law, kills, because it condemns sinners and brings death. The Spirit, on the other hand, gives life, because it enables believers to obey God and experience His grace. Paul is not saying that Scripture is a dead letter, but that the Spirit is the source of life and power.
As new testament believers we are taught that no man could keep the law(old testament), so we position ourselves under Christ so that we can stay under his blood. In Romans 2 it says, Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. So, the proclamation that Osteen charges you to speak forth ultimately causes you to blashpeme God's name.
The law was our guide to be in good standing with the father, while Jesus Christ is our way to the father!

What happens when we dream: In the Bible
When we dream, our brains are active in a similar way to when we are awake. However, there are some key differences. For example, the part of the brain responsible for logic and reasoning is less active during dreams, which is why dreams often seem so illogical and bizarre. Also, our muscles are paralyzed to keep us from acting out our dreams.
Dreams can be about anything, and they can be very vivid or very abstract. They can be happy, sad, scary, or anything in between. Some people dream every night, while others only dream occasionally. I think that I dream every night but only remember a small portion of the dreams I dream; maybe 20% the rest are forgotten when I wake up.
The bible says that God seals instructions to his children in our dreams[Job 33:14-17]. So God uses dreams as a way to speak to his children as he did with Joseph, Samuel, and Solomon in the bible. God made promises to each of these men in their dreams and fulfilled each promise. The bible also says that God holds the interpretation of every dream, so if we seek God we can know each dream’s interpretation.
All dreams are important; even nightmares can hold an important warning to us to influence us to take a different path or avoid certain people. Some people find that journaling helps make sense of their dreams because one dream by itself can be confusing, however several dreams lumped together can be enlightening…
I will give a warning, don't tell everyone/(just anybody) your dreams because just as Joseph was hated because of his dreams, people will hate you too if they find out what God has planned for you(when I was about 6 years old I had an aunt that used to ask me about my dreams and she put roots on me to try and keep them from coming true, because she was jealous that it wasn't her son or grandchildren that God wanted to use)...

Hammer of the Lord; In the Bible
Do you want to know who I am
I am the Hammer of the Lord[Jeremiah 23]
I destroy discord
I hover over those of one accord
I cut through evil like a sword
I make living righteously look hard
I break habits like a board
My hits you can't absorb
I'm made of iron, can't be brittle, that's absurd
I am the Hammer of the Lord
I make dreams come true
I hammer down nails, pound down truths for you
I make hard heads feel pain
Can you comprehend what I am saying?
I am a sign of God's reign,
And off the rails like a train
I fall on sinner like God's disdain
My hits damage the brain
I make those with insensitivity feel pain
You may complain, but my judgment will not wane
The pain I cause drives the sane, insane
I am the Hammer of the Lord
I fall on sinners like a summer rain
Once I hit you no one wants to feel that again
My claw will make you forget what you saw
The instructions on my face will teach you God's law
My neck and head will make your meat feel raw
Like Jesus said, handle me[Luke 24] and see that I am real
I'm large and in all respects I am a big deal
I am the wheel in the middle of the wheel
I am death's Achilles heel
I am the pain that makes the truth seem real
Like a big mac truck, I'm a value deal
I consume unrighteousness like a happy meal
And will drive even the largest nail home
I hit believers in the head, seal them with a goodly seal
When busy, I'll send a millstone down in my stead
I bring the truth to a head
I drive the truth home
I break up sin like a gallstone
Unrighteousness I can't condone
I will break up even a gravestone
Sin I make you leave it alone
I am the Hammer of the Lord

No Diggity: In the Bible
In 1996 the R&B group Blackstreet had a song called "No Diggity" as a single for their album with the same name. In 2013 Ed Sheeran did a cover of the same song with some success, sales wise. So what is the song about and why does it stay in the forefront, the minds eye, of music fans? Well the song is about a prostitute that sells herself all over town and you wonder if it should be called "No dignity" instead of "No Diggity"? So what does "No Diggity" mean? The Urban dictionary says that it means "absolutely" or "no doubt." So when you are dealing with a prostitute you are "absolutely" paying for sex and you are "no doubt" making a deal with the devil; children you must learn that if you are not doing what's right, then you are doing wrong.
The song goes on to call the prostitute a perfect ten, as if she has all the qualities one looks for when searching for a woman. The bible refers to several prostitutes, but they are not presented as godly women, however they are described as resourceful women and one was even celebrated for her wisdom through helping the children of Israel by hiding their spies. But should prostitutes be celebrated and held up as models for young women. The bible says that the married older women, should be held as examples for the younger women (Titus 2).
R&B music is not godly music and proves this by constantly degrading women, depicting them as whores and presenting men as pimps. The group, "Destiny's Child", famously had a song where they ask men, "can you pay my bills" if you can't pay my bills, then no sex! The bibles says that fornication is sinning against your own self because you are degrading the holy vessel that God has given you, that is meant for a holy purpose (1 Corinthians 6:18). R&B music encourages you to sin against yourself, just listening to it degrades your mindset and pulls you into a base way of thinking. When dealing with women in real life, you find yourself making deals, immoral deals, exchanging money for sexual favors, but the body is not meant to be used in that manner (1 Corinthians 6:13)
In the bible serving other gods is called whoredoms, so what do you think trying various types of music is, its trying spirits and you eventually serve them. The bible says try the spirits to see if they are of God. If their philosophy differs from the bible, then they are not of God. The bible says that in the end times men with listen to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, that's popular music my friends (1 Timothy), it's a seducing spirit; I went to sleep one night listening to popular music and had terrible dreams, the music seemed to be attacking me. Music is a seducing spirit, and what is a prostitute if not a seducer. The bible says that their house is the road to Hell (Proverbs 7).
So what am I saying. Well, we need good role models for our children like the bible says, and we need to watch what we listen to as not to be overcome with evil. The bible says as a man thinketh in his heart so is he, so be mindful of what you listen to because it sets your mindset.

Remix King: I'm Back in Baby's Arms
[Chorus]
I'm back in baby's arms
How I missed those lovin' arms
I'm back where I belong
Back in baby's arms
[Verse 1]
We had a fight last night
I couldn't sleep just right
All day my heart was sore
Bet we won't argue anymore
[Chorus]
I'm back in baby's arms
How I missed those lovin' arms [Deuteronomy 33:26-29]
I'm back where I belong
Back in baby's arms
[Verse 2]
Thought I didn't need your love
But you're my angel from above
Please give our love one last try
Or I might just die
Please see I come to no harm
Let me back in baby's arms
[Chorus]
I'm back in baby's arms
How I missed those lovin' arms
I'm back where I belong
Back in baby's arms
Back in baby's arms
Back in baby's arms
Back in baby's arms"

Alicia Keys: Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart: In the Bible
(I submit to you that Alicia Keys is writing this song to God
or writing it about God) We must keep in mind that [Psalm 52:17] says that
a broken and contrite heart God will not despise)
Even if you were a million miles away
I can still feel you in my bed
(Doesn't God feel a million miles away sometimes;
She sexualizes it by saying,"I can still feel you in my bed,
Just as the woman at the well did to Jesus by saying, "the
well is deep and you have nothing to draw with. [John 4:11])
Near me, touch me, feel me
And even at the bottom of the sea
(Psalm 139:7 says, "Whiter shall I go from thy spirit?
or whiter shall I flee from thy presence")"
I could still hear inside my head
(We have the holy spirit within us which speaks to us and guides us)
(David said even at the uttermost parts of the sea [Psalm 139:9])
Telling me, touch me, feel me
And all the time, you were telling me lies
(She accuses God of telling her lies!)
So tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you
(We cannot make it without God!)
Tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you
I'm gonna hold on to the times that we had
Tonight, I'm gonna find a way to make it without you
Have you ever try sleeping with a broken heart?
(Psalm 34:18 says, "the Lord is nigh unto them of a broken heart")
Well you could try sleeping in my bed
Lonely, own me, nobody ever shut it down like you
You wore the crown, you made my body feel heaven bound
(Jesus wears the crown and his followers are heaven bound!)
Why don't you hold me, need me
I thought you told me, you'd never leave me
(Jesus said I will never leave you alone [Hebrews 13:5])
Looking in the sky I could see your face
(How could this song not be about God, whose face could we
see in the clouds but God's!)
Then I knew right…
Here is the song: video

The Lone Ranger: In the Bible
The Lone Ranger, is about a lawyer named John Reid (Armie Hammer), that has returned to Texas to become his hometown’s prosecutor. An outlaw, Butch Cavendish (William Fichtner)
kills John’s brother Dan in an ambush along with John and five other men. John returns from the dead, becomes the Marshall, and sets out in search of Justice. This is when he links up with Tonto (Johnny Depp), a seemingly crazy Comanche mystic.
Now this is when it gets interesting and I add a bit of a biblical
perspective, just to get your brains working.
Let me state the facts again...
-8 Men enter the canyon/pit (1 outlaw, 7 Rangers) Video1
-7 Rangers die, but one doesn't stay dead, he returns from the pit
-The Lone Ranger invokes Marshall Law, (Marshall Law is coming to the US!)
-He wakes-up, is revived from the dead on the top of 7 peaks/hills
-He wears a Mask
-He rides a white horse
-In the movie a rich man states states: “make no mistake law and order has come to the west.” In other words the west has changed forever. The same statement The President made after the explosion in West Texas. Quote
-The rich man also states that "nothing is accomplished without sacrifice" in other words, a sacrifice.
So you ask, where can these things be found in the bible...
[Revelation 17]
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book
of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Verse 11 above states that the 8th is of the seven, this means that one of the seven men dies and comes back to life, just like in the movie, The Lone Ranger.
So all we need now is a horseman on a white horse: [Revelation 6:2] (And I saw, and
behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.)
Now, this man on a white horse that comes in peace before going on a rampage may have nothing to do with the beast written about in the bible, however the case has been made that there are eerie parallels shown in this movie. Here are some things to think about in the future.
-The Man on the White horse is a peaceful man but demands justice once he is attacked and his loved ones are killed. He invokes Marshal Law and demands justice.
-Could this be referencing a sneak attack found in the bible?
-The "Masked Man" is revealed; the bible says that the son of perdition will be revealed; his mask taken away (see my, NOW YOU SEE ME article)
-Have you figured out the significance of Tonto yet? Hey I can't tell you everything, especially you naysayers...
So what are your thoughts?
